Julien Muzard

EMEA Field Applications Technologist Entegris

Julien joined Entegris in 2021 as application technologist covering the EMEA region. Julien holds an Engineer degree and a PhD in biotechnology (Paris-Diderot) and focused his career on building and exploring next-generation platform technologies for precision biological engineering and translational sciences. Julien’s also contributed to the development of other new molecular entities with gain of function and high-resolution biosensing techniques down to single molecule/particle level combining nanopore technology and micro-electronics. He has published in more than thirty articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed journals and is a co-inventor of numerous patents at the interface of molecular medicine and particles instrumentation. Julien prototyped several lab robots from scratch, including the Automatic Fraction Collector (Izon Science, New Zealand), now used worldwide as a main chromatography platform for the purification of various nanoparticles and extracellular vesicles at lab and semi-industrial scales.
